For First time Home Buyers

I recently spent a couple of weekends with a couple who are first time homebuyers.  The questions they asked were similar to the questions I get asked by most first time homebuyers.   Over the next week or two I’ll recap a lot of these questions – hopefully helping other first time homebuyers.  Let’s start:

  • Nope, you’re not taking up too much of my time.  It’s my job to show you homes and I really enjoy doing it.  The more homes you see in your price range, the better you’ll be able to make a decision when you find the right home for you.
  • My first client, a buyer, looked at 43 homes.  You’re welcome to try and break that record.  Most buyers get a pretty good feel for the market after viewing about 8 – 10 homes, but everyone is different.
